Edith Minor Dabney

Edith Minor Dabney, 75, of Paducah died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a retired retail clerk for Elder-Beerman and a member of Olivet Baptist Church in Paducah.
She is survived by two sons, Marshall C. Dabney of Bartlett, Tenn., and James K. Dabney of Bradford, Va.; two sisters, Ruth Stone of Groveport, Ohio, and Christine Wise of Campbellsville; two brothers, Dean Minor of Campbellsville and James Minor of Franklin, Ind.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Mary Ellen Gupton Minor; one daughter, Renita Dabney; three sisters; and two brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Kenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
