Edward Lee Medley

Edward Lee Medley, 80, of Boaz passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. 

Edward was a Master Plumber and lifetime member of Local 184. He was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Linda (Balkey) Medley; three children, Gary Medley, Dawn (Bobby) Hollowell, Shaun (Steven) Medley; his sister, Elizabeth Ann (Ronnie) Boswell; sister-in-law, Phyllis Medley; six grandchildren, Matt (Kristin) Howard, Blake (Lindsey) Howard, Trey (Lindsey) Howard, Sierra (Cody) McKinney, Lucas Medley, and Alex Medley; seven great-grandchildren, Mabrey, Reece, Miles, Rowan, Hollis, Marnie, and Annie Jane; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Medley Sr. and Lola (Franklin) Medley; and three brothers, Rufus Harold Medley Jr., John Wayne Medley, and Thomas Allen Medley.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Fooks Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Allred officiating. Burial will follow. 

Friends may visit the family from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
