Elizabeth Parmley

Elizabeth Parmley, 58, of Metropolis, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Elizabeth worked for several years as a bakery manager. The kitchen was her happy place, she loved to cook and bake. Her world revolved around her family. She loved the times her children and grandchildren were together. In her spare time, Elizabeth loved watching the Andy Griffith Show and had a love for her country. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Elizabeth is survived by three sons, Steven (Amber) Parmley, Joe Parmley, and Nick Parmley; four siblings, John (Denise) McCutcheon, Erin (Steve) Evans, Jim (Shannon) McCutcheon, Andrea (Vernon) Riepe; ten grandchildren, Natalie Parmley, Wesley Parmley, Fiona Parmley, Bryce Parmley, Jaxon Parmley, Brycen Parmley, Serenity Parmley, Issac Parmley, Bryson Throgmorton, and Carter Throgmorton; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Elizabeth in death are her parents, John and Sharon McCutcheon and one brother, Robert McCutcheon.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family from 5:00 to service hour Friday.
