Elsie Cooper

Elsie Evelyn Cooper, 81, of Hardmoney passed away on Monday December 8, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

Mrs. Cooper was retired from the Restorative Care Department at Parkview Nursing & Rehab, and was a member of Hardmoney Baptist Church.

Surviving is two sons, Michael (Robin) Cooper of Columbia, TN, Gary (DeAnn) Cooper of Ledbetter; one daughter, Kathy Cooper Meunier of Hardmoney; two brothers, David Allen Hopkins, Courtney Ellis Hopkins; and one sister, Betty Fondaw; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Earl Cooper; one son-in-law, Mike Meunier; four brothers, Carnie Hopkins, Dennis Hopkins, Harold Wayne Hopkins, Charles Hopkins; one sister, Oma Roetteis; and one grandson, Christopher Cooper.

Funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Friday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Farris Sahawneh officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter.
