Elton Ray Smith, 58, of Grand Rivers formerly of Paducah died on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Mr. Smith was a McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputy for 20 years and a U.S. Army Veteran for 26 years. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving is his wife, Carol Smith of Grand Rivers; and one stepson, Chad Scott of Grand Rivers.
He was preceded in death by his twin sister.
He will be cremated per his wishes and no services will be held.
Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
