Eric Wade Ball, 39, of Benton died Sunday, April 5, 2009, in a car accident on Highway 68. He was a mate for AEP Barge Line.
Mr. Ball is survived by a nephew who was like a son, Zavior Snelling of Benton; his parents, Richard Ball and Ruth Haynes Ball of West Paducah; brothers James Ball of Bellville, Wis., Kenneth Ball of Melber and Troy Ball of Kevil; a sister, MaLinda Moulding of Hickory; special friend Laura West of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Elisha and Flora Pearl Ball and Melvin and Mittie Haynes.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009, at Lindsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive visitors from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
