Eulala Myre

Eulala Myre, 82, of Paducah died Tuesday at her home.

Mrs. Myre was a retired newspaper carrier for the Paducah Sun. She was the National Newspaper Association Carrier of the year in 2002.

Surviving are three sons, Jerry Lynn Myre of Ledbetter, Terry Wayne Myre of Paducah, David Lee Myre of Paducah; two daughters, JoAnn Downs of West Paducah, June Richardson of Melber; six grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil H. Myre; and one brother Willis Stephens. Her parents were Willis Norvel and Lenoria Lucille Stephens.

Funeral will be at 11am on Monday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Altrogge officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 5:00pm – 8:00pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
