Evelyn Emily Kennedy

Evelyn E. Kennedy, 86 of Kevil, KY passed away on Friday June 14, 2024 at Stone Creek Nursing and Rehab in Paducah.

Evelyn loved her family and talked about growing up in the mountains of Arkansas. She played basketball for her school and picked cotton in the fall. She moved to Paducah and attended school later working for Carl and Ronnie’s Beauty Shop. She was plant manager at Tele Service of over 25 years in Kevil KY., known to many as E.K. or Boss, simply, Evelyn enjoyed gospel music and loved the Lord. She had a passion for quilting and many for family and friends over the years.

She is survived by her children; Stan (Lillie) Knight of West Paducah, John (Shari) Knight of Paducah and Sherry Kennedy of Kevil. And special bonus daughters, Debbie Daniels, Connie Woods, Tammy Boulton, Lisa Wyatt, Carla Harper and Jessica Davenport. Grandchildren, Joshua Knight of Louisville, Brent Knight of Morganville, Scotty (Brandi) Lindblad of LaCenter, Dustin Lindblad of Paducah, and Andrea Milligan if Marion. Great grandchildren, Jaylin Knight of Palducah, Brooklin Knight of West Paducah, Kerrklin Riley of West Paducah and Amelia Lindblad of Paducah. And Jace Shuchko.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, John Marion Bridges and Orphie Mae Stump Bridges, and her husband, Roy G. Kennedy. A step-daughter, Julie Kennedy Griffin and grandson, Channing, Son in law, Eddie Yancy. And Five brothers and five sisters.

A family planned private memorial services will be at her birth place in Wittsprings, Arkansas at a later date.
