Evelyn Tucker

Evelyn Griffin Tucker, 83 of Paducah died at 3:00am Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Lourdes Hospital.
Mrs. Tucker was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, where she taught children’s Sunday School for many years.
Surviving are four daughters, Tina Haley of Paducah, Jenda Lowery of Wingo, Penni Hoaglin of Joplin, MO, and Alita Parent of Paducah; three sons, Jim Story of Clearlake Oaks, CA, Mark Story of Paducah and Michael Story of Paducah; one brother, Harold Griffin of Bardwell; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Tucker; one daughter, Verna Powell; three sons, Richard Tucker and Ralph and Olen Story; one sister; and one brother. Her parents were Doc and Mae Griffin.
Services will be 1:00pm Monday at First Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor J. Russell Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Graves County.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Lindsey Funeral Home.
