Evelyne Bottoms

Evelyne Bottoms, age 82, of Symsonia, Ky. passed away Thursday, July 28, 2009 at 8:20pm at Oakview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Calvert City. A memorial service will be held at 10am Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Symsonia Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Miller officiating.

Evelyne was a riverboat cook for over 20 years and a member of Symsonia Baptist Church for over 10 years. She loved to sew, crochet, quilt and cook. She was known near and far for her fried chicken and wild rice turnovers.

Evelyne is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ann Teseniar and husband, Gary of Symsonia, Ky.; one brother, William Howard Bottoms of Boaz, Ky.; one grandson, Michael Eugene Bone and wife Kelly; one granddaughter, Savannah Leann Bone of Symsonia, Ky,; 3 great-grandchildren, Austin Tyler Robinson, Aaron Michael Bone and Ashleigh Paige Bone all of Symsonia, Ky.

Visitation will be held from 9am-10am Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Symsonia Baptist Church.
