Frances Downs, 69, of LaCenter, Ky passed away Wednseday at the Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Downs was a native of McCrakcen County, Ky and was a member of the Heartland Worship Center. She had worked as a Nurses Aide for Parkview Nursing Home.
Surviving are two daughters, Vicky Reynolds of Paducah and Sharon Wells of La Center; two sons, Tommy Downs of West Paducah and Billy Downs of Sikeston, Mo; one sister, Jean Mc Elmurry of Paducah; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Thomas Downs, daughter Rickie Dublin; son Robert Downs; two brothers and one grandchild. Her parents were Willard Harper and Rubye Thorpe Harper.
Services will be at 2:00PM Monday, August 23 at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Sunday August 22, and after 11:00AM on Monday at the funeral home.
