Gary "Country" Richardson

Gary Leo “Country” Richardson, 77, of Boaz passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at his residence. 

Gary was a retired electrician from the railroad industry and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed coon hunting, horse racing, and stock car racing.

Surviving are his four children, Angie (Richard) Taylor, Brad (Donna) Richardson, Chance (Chelsea) Richardson, Brice (Adyson) Richardson; two sisters, Vogene Crouch and Reita (Mike) Coon; seven grandchildren, Jenae, Katelynn, Preston, Hunter, Gunner, Piper, Brylee; one great-granddaughter, Tatum; and his former spouse, Kayla Coltharp.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Lucy Richardson; three brothers, Robert Richardson, Ronnie Richardson, and Jerry Lynn Richardson.

Memorial services will at 7:00pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Lindsey Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Cope and Angie Taylor officiating.

Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
