Gina Sue (Faulkner) Purchase

Gina Sue “Smokey” Purchase, 64, of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Gina formerly worked in the housekeeping department at Superior Care Center and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, watching sports, spending time with her family, and having BBQs.

Surviving is her husband of 21 years, Brad Purchase; one stepson, Bradley (Ebony) James; one stepdaughter, Valarie James; six siblings, Rhonda (Sam) King, Connie Lee Faulkner, Alayne (George) White, Debra Hollowell, Darla Kay Swanson, and Barry Faulkner; two grandchildren, Aniya James and Kaleah James; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Faulkner and Reby Bumphus; and two brothers, Nathaniel Faulkner Bumphus and Jospeh Garnett.

She will be cremated, and no services are scheduled at this time.
