Glenda Ann Sullivan, 77, of Metropolis, died peacefully in her daughter’s home in Sherwood, AR on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

Glenda was born and raised in Metropolis, IL.  She graduated from Metropolis High School in 1960.  Over the years, she along with her husband, Floyd, owned several businesses which included an upholstery shop, Victorian Rose Gift Shop, Northside market, and Friends and Company Flea Market.  She was an active member of the community participating in numerous organizations such as New Frontiers homemakers, Historical society, Garden Club, Save the Massac, and was a founding member of the Project Hope animal shelter. Kevin Sullivan).  Glenda’s grandchildren include Jeffrey Alan Sullivan (Mary), Jennifer May (Travis), Meagan Edwards (David), Tracy Logan (Jason), and Racan Aqrabawi (Kellie).
