Glenn Woods
October 22, 1953 — February 28, 2016
Glenn Woods, 62, of Metropolis died on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mr. Woods was a former operator at EEI and of the Baptist Faith. He also served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving is one daughter, Ashley (Jeremy) Stafford of Metropolis; one son, Anthony (Jessica) Woods of Kevil; three brothers, Randall Woods of Brookport, Mike Woods of Metropolis, Ivan Woods of Metropolis; two sisters, Pam Suggs of Metropolis, Lisa Somner of Metropolis; two granddaughters, Savannah and Makayla Stafford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darkus Woods and Shirley Woods-Thompson.
Memorial services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday March 5, 2016 at the Massac Creek Community of Christ Church with the Revs. Marvin Kleinau and Ivan Woods officiating.
Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
