Ham Herman “Bill” Davis, 94, of Melber passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at his residence with his family by his side.
Ham was a retired from the Union Local 1214 where he was a jack hammer operator. He was a member of Rickman Road Baptist Church and attended also New Beginnings Community Church. He loved going to church and being a witness for Christ to everyone he met. He enjoyed walking, being outdoors, working in the garden. and all Renee’s little animals
Surviving are his three children, Vickie (Kent) Boykin, Randy (Sheila) Davis, Renee (Greg) Hays; six grandchildren, Vanessa Davis, Charity Seaton, Chris Davis, Matt Hays, Ethen Hays, MaryBeth Hays; twelve great-grandchildren, Jasmine Davis, Elisha Davis, Joseph Davis, Myla Davis, Faith Seaton, Landon Seaton, Lyla Seaton, Kynlee Hays, Carson Hays, Piper Hays, Kyler Hays, and Hudson Hays.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Davis; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 12:30pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Rickman Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Stan Durrett officiating. Burial will follow at Mayfield Creek Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 10:30am to funeral hour on Wednesday at the church.
His favorite Bible verse was; “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8
