Harold Dean Arnold

Harold “Bud” Arnold, Paducah, Kentucky formerly of Walker, Iowa passed away peacefully at home Friday December 11, 2020.


Bud was born in Ashland, Wisconsin the son of Gilbert and Hazel Arnold July 20, 1931. He was raised on the family farm north of Walker and lived there until retiring. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War conflict based in Indo-China. He married Wilma Morris February 25, 1961 and they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this February. They retired and moved to Paducah where they made their home for the last 14 years. He enjoyed many years fishing with family and friends in Hackensack, Minnesota. He was a member of the Walker American Legion and Operating Engineers Union.


Bud is survived by his wife Wilma, son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Teri Arnold, daughter Lisa (Warren Meyer) Lindsey, grandchildren Tricia (Matt) Hull, Heather (Jerrod Miller) Arnold, Joe (Becca) Lindsey, Ryan (McKenzie) Arnold, Ben Lindsey and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sister Vivian Ockenfels and brother Norman Arnold. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenny Arnold and sister Cathryn Todtz.


Due to current restrictions there will be no visitation or services. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.


Lindsey Funeral Home, Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
