Harrison Shrum Jr., 89, of Paducah, died Tuesday morning, July 21st, 2015 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab of Paducah.
Harrison was an Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theatre, and a retired self-employed mechanic.
He is survived by three daughters, Donna Davis of Nesbit, MS., Lou Ann Metcalf of Paducah, and Joni Hiatt of Joppa, Il.; one son, Harry Shrum of Dewey, Az.; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Francis Hart Shrum; his parents, Harrison & Letha Alice Shrum; one daughter, Alice Phelps; one son in law; five brothers; six sisters; and two great grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah. Graveside services will be held on Thursday July 23rd, 2015 starting at 4pm at Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia, MS.
