Heather Dawn Slaughter

Heather Dawn Slaughter, 38, of Benton passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Ms. Slaughter formerly worked as a medical assistant at the Mississippi State Hospital and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is her father, Randy (Fay) Starks of Benton; two sisters, Roxanne (Brian) Fryman of Hardin and Jessica (Arthur) Wooten of Reidland; one nephew, Thomas Wooten; four nieces, Gracelyn Starks, Ayla Fryman, Addison Wooten, and Emalyn Fryman.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine "Lynn" Horton.

She will be cremated at her wishes and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
