Helen Luyster

Helen Luyster, 91 of Paducah passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Emeritus At Paducah.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are three daughters, Zoanne (Bill) Pennington of Huntingburg, IN, Amy (Marc) Kidd of Plano, TX, and Beth (Kenny) Hunt of Paducah; two sons, Lewis (Pam) Luyster of Minneapolis, MN and Warren (Virginia) Luyster of Frankfort, KY; and one sister, Janet Brandon of Grand Rapids, MN; as well as five granddaughters, Sarah Lynch of Philadelphia, PA, Samantha Kidd of New York, NY, Julie Luyster of Milwaukee, WI, Kaitlyn Luyster of Frankfort, and Hannah Hunt of Paducah; seven grandsons, Benjamin Knowles of Richmond, VA, Jonathan Knowles of Richmond, Nicholas Luyster of Minneapolis, Seth Kidd of Austin, TX, James Hunt of Louisville, KY, Jared Luyster of Frankfort, and Henry Hunt of St. Louis, MO; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kenneth Luyster; one daughter, Christine Elizabeth Knowles, one sister, and two brothers. Her parents were Howard Warren Anderson and Klara Mathilde Anderson.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 2:00pm until 4:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home.
