Helen Walston

Helen “Pat” Walston, 87, of Paducah passed away on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at Rivers Bend Retirement Center in Kuttawa.

Mrs. Walston was an interior designer for Carriage House downtown Paducah.

Surviving are two sons, Brooks (Carol) Walston of Eddyville, Tom (Trish) Walston of Ft. Meyers, FL; one daughter, Connie (Danny) Lawson of Bloomfield, KY; six grandchildren, Kelly Humphrey Highlander of Bourbon County, Jeremiah Walston of Marion, KY, Sam Walston of Lyon County, Sarah Duke Lawson of Bowling Green, Whitt Lawson of Nelson County, Molly Walston of Ft Meyers, FL; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos Gatlin and Edna Overstreet; her husband, JD Walston; one daughter, Patricia Dee Thomason; one brother, Amos James Gatlin III; two sisters, Connie Batsel, Dottie Stephens; and one great-granddaughter, Samantha Highlander.

Services will be held at a later date.

Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
