Helen “Gram” DeLuca, 82, of Wickliffe, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center.
Helen worked as a bookkeeper for the Federal Musicians Union. In her free time, Helen could be found playing poker and enjoying bloody mary’s or margaritas, or shooting guns. She was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns and made sure she never missed a chance to watch them play. Helen was of the Catholic faith.
Helen is survived by five children, Denise Clements of Chicago, IL, Karlene Mutschler of Texas Jacque Perez of Missouri, John DeLuca of Chicago, IL, and Karl DeLuca of Virginia; one granddaughter, Melissa Smith; four great-grandchildren, Jonathan (Darrenda) Brooks, Dylan (Jordan) Brooks, Darin Richardson, and Drake Rudolph; four great-great-grandchildren, Jonah Brooks, Lucas Brooks, Josiah Brooks, and Cameron Richardson; and a nephew, Michael Schroeder.
Preceding Helen in death is her husband, Frank DeLuca; her parents, Harry and Bessie Mitchell; and two children, Toni DeLuca and Linda Dianne Holly.
The family will be holding a memorial service Labor Day Weekend. The family asks all flowers or cards be sent to 1418 Deerfield Lane in Wickliffe (zip code 42087).
