Henry Edwin Brokaw

Henry E. “Colonel” Brokaw, 64, of Paducah passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 as the result of an automotive accident in Saline County, IL.

Mr. Brokaw was a retired towboat engineer and a driver from Riverside Floral Company in Paducah.

Surviving is his girlfriend, Stephanie McCoy of Paducah; four children, Henry (Autum) Scott of Lone Oak, Tonya (J.R.) Hollon of LaCenter, Stacie Richerson of Paducah, and Jarren (Tiffany) Brokaw of Ft. Bliss, TX; two stepchildren, McKenzie Sweeney and Madison McCoy; one sister, Maryann Dugo Vayda of Florida; one brother, Junior (Martha) Thorn of Brownsville, IL; nine grandchildren, John Henry Rohan, Sarah Brokaw, Chelsy Williams, David Richerson Jr., Jacob Cordell, Levi Scott, Erica Scott, Kinley Gayle Brokaw, and Jerren Ra’Shon Brokaw Jr.; and one great-grandson, Baylor “Bear” Rankin.

He was preceded in death by his two-grandchildren, Dewayne Rohan and Serena Rohan; and several brothers and sisters. His parents were Henry Ford Brokaw and Ida Bell Newton Brokaw.

Memorial service will be at 5:00pm on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Paducah Riverfront.
