Henry Powell

Henry P. Powell, 85, of Paducah died Thursday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Powell was a retired carpenter and worked in the automotive industry.
Surviving are four sons, Bobby L. Powell of Garden City, Mich., Cecil R. Powell of Wayne, Mich., and Jimmy Callis and Billy Powell, both of Paducah; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Winert Powell; his parents, Solan and Mary Josephine Powell; and one son, Ronald Powell.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Clarks River Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.
