Hilda Henry

Hilda Henry, 93 of Ledbetter, passed away Wednesday December 6, 2017 at New Haven Assisted Living in Paducah.
She was born January 11, 1924 in Hickman, Kentucky. Her parents were Cue and Lula Mae Stove. She was manager of Morgan’s Dry Goods in Salem, before retiring and moving to Ledbetter in 1976, where she was a member of Ledbetter Church of Christ.
She was married to her late husband Gilbert Henry for 57 years. Mrs. Henry was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook and cared for her family.
She is survived by her son, Doug (Shan) Henry of Paducah. One daughter, Brenda (Jackie) Durard of Ledbetter. Four grandchildren; James (Jodi) Durard, Tim (Regina) Durard, Chad (Cheryl) Durard, all of Ledbetter, and Shellie Henry of Paducah.
Eight great grandchildren, Kara Shae Dowdy, Tesa Conn, Laken Travelstead, Keely Durard, Tana Durard, Tara Martin, Ashley Cagle and Austin Walters. Seven great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday December 9, 2017, at Lindsey Funeral Home. With Bro. David Myers officiating. With interment to follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter, Ky. Visitation will from 11 a.m. Saturday December 9, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home, until funeral hour.
