Howell DeWayne Spees

Howard DeWayne Spees, 82, of Breckenridge, TX formerly of Paducah, KY passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Spees was a Radio Disc jockey and a tow-boat captain. He also was Bozo the Clown and a Rodeo Clown. In his spare time, he enjoyed calf-roping.

Dewayne is survived by his lifetime friend, Rick Ramirez of Texas; three children, Christopher Spees of Texas, Gordon (Debra) Spees of Kevil, and Jonathan Ramirez of Texas; one granddaughter, Courtney Spees of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howell Spees and Edna Spees; two children, Eric Wade and Amy Lynn; and one sister, Jane Walton.

Funeral services for Mr. Spees will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 3, 2025, at Lindsey Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Courtney officiating.. Burial will follow at Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Friends may visit the family from 11:00AM until service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
