Huel Holland Leaver

Huel Leaver, 91, of Paducah, died Monday morning, September 3rd, 2018 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab of Paducah.

Huel was a 29 year retired chemical operator for Pennwalt in Calvert City, KY. He was also a WWII Army veteran, and a member of Schneidman Rd. Baptist Church of Paducah.

Huel is survived by three children, Sharon Hancock of Paducah, Karen Leaver of Paducah, and Chris Leaver of Spring Hill, KS; two grandsons; one granddaughter; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth Ogg Leaver; his parents, Willis Hammond and Elsie Clark Leaver; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Thorn; one brother and one sister.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, September 6th, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be Friday morning, September 7th, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home starting at 11am with Rev. Mike Monahan officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.

Memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Scheidman Rd. Baptist Church of Paducah.
