Ivan Eugene Short, 76, of Ledbetter, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Marshall County Hospital in Benton.
Mr. Short was an avid bowler and served in the United States Air Force for nine years and during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his son, Roman Hayden Short of Ledbetter; two daughters, Teresa Gail Collins of Seymour, Tenn,. and Kimberly Jean Short of Ledbetter; four sisters, Loretta Link, Jean Gaines, Leslie Baugus and Brenda Wood; two grandchildren, Carissa Michelle Short and Kennadee Short; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roman M. Short; his mother, Sue R. Bradford; and one brother, Norman Short.
Services will be Thursday, December 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery in Benton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
