James Allen Smith

James Allen Smith, 86, of Blandville passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. 

James was retired from UPS and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed mowing and bush hogging with his tractor.

Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Abbie Smith of Blandville; two sons, Bradley (Mary) Smith and Tim (Trina) Smith both of Blandville; three grandchildren, Lindsey Moore, Dalton Smith, Evan (Sarah) Smith; four step-grandchildren, Todd (Tonya) Shoulta, Tony (Nikita) Shoulta, Jason (Michelle) Shoulta, Mark (Kelly) Shoulta; five great-grandchildren, Eli, Madison, Llianna, Kayden, and Jarren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mayme Smith; and one granddaughter, Emily Smith.

He will be cremated per his wishes.
