James L. Denton, 88 of Paducah passed away Saturday at Western Baptist hospital. Mr. Denton was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Denton of Paducah; one Daughter, Mahala (John) Avery of Russellville, AL; one sister, Frances Nickens of California; four grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Sibbie Denton; one daughter, Angie Smothers; two brothers, R.J. Denton, and Bennie Denton; and two sisters, Lola Mae Pullen, and Dorothy Denton.
Services will be at 12:00 PM Tuesday at Lindsey Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call after 11:00 AM Tuesday up until the funeral hour at the funeral home
