James Edward Jim Patterson, 58, of Paducah died Saturday, October 3, 2009, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Patterson worked in maintenance at Wal-Mart on Paducahs Southside for several years. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Jim is survived by his wife, Marie Hall Patterson, and son, Sylvester, a greatly adored 12 year old cat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Sally Clark Patterson.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2009, at Lindsey Funeral Home, 226 North Fourth Street in Paducah. Brother Paul Hatcher, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Paducah, will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Livingston County.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.
