James Rushing

James Calvin Jim Rushing, 75, of Paducah passed away Saturday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Rushing was a native of Livingston County, a retired Army Veteran, and an operator for the Paducah waste water treatment plant, as well as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of thirty-one years, Linda Darnel Haynes Rushing of Paducah; his children, Phillip Rushing of Marion KY, Danny Rushing of Petersburg VA, Jackie Carter of Rockholds KY, Shawn Rushing of Kevil KY, Dawn Rushing of Auburn AL, and David Rushing of LaCenter KY; one brother, three sisters, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Alan Rushing, one grandson, Andrew Jordan Rushing, four brothers and one sister.
Services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home, with cremation following at Cremation Society of Paducah.
Friends may call after 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
