James Rutherford, 59, of Paducah died on Sunday April 12, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Rutherford was a former painter with Local 500.
Surviving is one son, Michael Shane Phillips of Boaz; two grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James William Rutherford Sr. and May Jeanette Rutherford.
No services are scheduled at this time.
