James Harold Whitledge

James Harold “Jim” Whitledge, 84, of Benton, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home Friday morning, November 3rd, 2017. Jim was founder of West Kentucky Scale Co. and was a US Army veteran.
Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nellie McClain Whitledge; one daughter, Sandy Moss of Benton; one son, Randy (Tessa) Whitledge of Osprey, Florida; two grandchildren, Paige Whitledge and Matthew Moss; two great grandchildren, Benson Moss and Whitlee Ray; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Verbal and Hattie Stone Whitledge; one brother and two sisters.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah starting at 11am.
