Janet Ann (Herron) Fiser

Janet Fiser, 79, of Ledbetter passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at her home in the arms of her dear husband.

Janet was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In her earlier years she worked for Livingston County Property Valuation Office. She enjoyed working on flower arrangements, gardening, watching birds, making jewelry and shopping for clothing online. She loved watching Game of Thrones and Yellowstone. She had a special love for all her dogs, especially Maggie. She loved spending time with her family and watching her great-grandson, Cayson grow up.

Surviving is her husband of 62 years, Woody Fiser; two children, Suzanne (Derek) Sanderson of Calvert City and David (Angela) Fiser of Ledbetter; two grandchildren, Jacob (Brooke) Sanderson of Paducah and Sarah Sanderson (Dalton Brumfield) of Mayfield; two step grandchildren, Will Blackburn and Ben Large both of Ledbetter; two great-grandchildren, Cayson Hayes Sanderson and Addyson Blake Sanderson both of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Eileen Herron; and one sister, Judy Holt.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Lindsey Funeral Home.

Private family graveside services will follow.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Easter Seals of Western KY.
