Jason David Parks

Jason David Parks was called away from his suffering into his healing in heaven on Saturday, October 16th, 2021.

Jason was born in Palos Heights, IL on July 21st, 1977, to the late David Parks and Edelgard (Bergmann) Parks. He graduated from Lincoln Way Central High School in 1995 and went on to pursue a theology degree at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. Jason moved to Paducah, KY in 2004 where he married his wife, Traca. Together, they had four children. Jason was a laborer, an entrepreneur, dedicated and hardworking man. Jason piloted numerous small businesses over the years. His favorite hobby was fishing, and he loved all things involving nature. He was of the Christian Faith.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, David Brian Parks; his grandparents, Orval and Billy Parks, and Willi and Lisa Bergmann.

Jason is survived by his wife of 17 years, Traca; his children Donovan, Remington, and Jonah of Paducah, KY; his daughter, EmmaLynn of St. Mary’s, GA; his grandson, Charles “Duckie” Deboe of St. Mary’s, GA; his mother, Edelgard Parks of English, IN; his brothers, Joshua (Kendra) Parks of Springville, and Andrew (Amanda) Parks of Jasper, IN; one niece, six nephews, and a multitude of friends who love and miss him.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
