Jeanetta Bearden Pollard, 76, of Paducah, went home to be with Jesus at 1:07am on October 6th, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanetta treasured playing Mrs. Claus to Jim’s Santa Claus. She enjoyed playing board games, embroidery work, traveling, spending time with family and writing. She was also one of the founding members Hope for Life Pregnancy Resource center in Mayfield, Ky.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Hill, who she met at church in Nashville, Tn.; one daughter, Valerie (Jackie) Pollard of Paducah; two sons, Barry (Jenny) Pollard of Fort Myers, Florida, and Alex (Bonnie) Dunmire of Tampa, Florida; three sisters, Loreda Phillips of Paducah, Linda (Mickey) Wiley of Hickory, Ky., & Donna (David) Sanderson of Mayfield, Ky.; one granddaughter, Savannah Dunmire of Nashville, Tn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donvin and Robbie Bearden.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 7th, 2016 from 5pm until 7pm at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah, or on Saturday, October 8th, 2016 from 11am until 1pm at Clarks River Baptist Church in Symsonia, Ky. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 8th at the church following visitation with Rev. Bill George of Nashville, Tn., and Rev. Jeff Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Boaz, Ky.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Easter Seals of Western Kentucky.
