Jeanne (Barrow) Austin

Jeanne Barrow Austin, 92, of Calvert City Ky passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018.

She was the eighth of nine children and was born in Model TN (Land Between the Lakes) On December 9, 1925 to Florence and Finus Barrow.

Throughout her life she was a housewife, worked for Watkins department store and retired from Kentucky  Dam Village State Park.  She and her late husband Joe Austin were avid members of the American Legion. She also loved cooking, spending quality time with family and shopping with her friends.

She is survived by her son Ronnie McClure, her grandchildren Allan McClure, Derek McClure, Lindsey Jones (Stephen) and Tyler McClure and her great grandchildren Kirsten McClure , Mason Jones and Sara Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents Florence and Finus Barrow, her eight siblings, her first husband Jimmy McClure, her second husband Joe Austin, her son Tony McClure  and her daughter in law Sarita McClure.

Friends may visit the family at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah KY on Thursday, July 12th, 2018 starting at 11am until the 1pm funeral service time. Burial will follow at Mayfield Memorial Gardens in Mayfield, KY.
