Jerry Devers

Jerry Devers, 88, of Metropolis passed away on February 16, 2024.

Jerry was a kind and caring soul who was very appreciative of all the caregivers that helped him over the past few years.  He was especially thankful for the staff and Metropolis Nursing and Rehab.

Jerry was a man of faith and because of that we find peach knowing he’s now living his best life.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Modelle Devers and one nephew, John Devers.

He is survived by one brother, Dempsy Deavers Sr; and two nephews, Steven Devers and Dempsey Devers Jr.; and one niece, Sherry Clark.
