Jerry Whitis

Jerry Donald Whitis, 69 of Metropolis died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Whitis was a retired mechanic.

Surviving are his two daughters, Tammy Sikes of Paducah and Christina Felts of Carmel, IN; two sisters, LaDonna Nelson and Jane Ann Alton, both of Paducah; one brother, Truman Whitis of Mayfield; two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. His parents were Herman and Murrell Whitis.

Services will be 3:00pm Sunday at Lindsey Funeral Home. Interment will be at Spring Creek Church of Christ Cemetery in Graves County.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm until the funeral hour, at the funeral home.
