Jesse Brandon

Jesse William Brandon, 95, of Paducah was born November 15, 1915 in Hazel, Kentucky. He passed away at 4:35 pm Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Brandon was a retired accountant with Thomas Furniture, and was a member of Broadway Church of Christ. He was a World War II Navy veteran, and served in the Solomon Islands during the war. His greatest passions were his faith, family and friends. He also greatly enjoyed tending his vegetable garden.

Surviving are his son, Steve Brandon of Paducah; one brother, Keith Brandon of Murray; his grandson, William Lance Brandon of West Paducah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lee Brandon; one brother, Harold Brandon; and two sisters, Ila Nelle Dunn and Patricia Miles. His parents were Toy and Murla Brandon of Hazel, KY.

Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home, with Dr. Dan Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour, at the funeral home.
