Jimmie L. Gilbert

Jimmie L. Gilbert, 84, of Paducah, died Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Jimmie was a Chiropractor and an engineer at ICGRR. He was a member of First Christian Church in Paducah.

Surviving Jimmie is his wife of 65 years, Barbara Gilbert; five children, Jimmie Gilbert Jr., Mike Gilbert, Patti Davis, Pam Gilbert, and Cindy Hetzler; two sisters, Betty Wallace and Mary Jo Hartig; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, Burford and Dorothy Gilbert.

A memorial service for Jimmie will be held Monday, February 3 at First Christian Church of Paducah located at 415 Audubon Drive at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jamie Eubanks officiating. Friends may visit the family from 11:00 am to service hour.
