Jimmie Jimbo Hammonds, 68, of Paducah died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Hammonds was a cement finisher for the Local 135 and of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie Sue Eubanks of Paducah; his daughter, Carol Humphrey of Paducah; his son, Louis Hammonds of Paducah; his brother, Eddie Hammonds of Canton, OH; four grandsons and two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otho Hammonds and Jeannie Harper Hammonds.
Services will be Monday, March 11 at 2:00pm at Lindsey Funeral Home, with Bro. Kevin Pleasant officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Grand Rivers.
Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00pm on Monday at the funeral home.
