Biography



Jimmie Lois “Red” Riley, 74 of Paducah passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Riley was a retired diesel mechanic, an avid hunter, and a loving grandfather. He was a member of Southland Baptist Temple.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Riley; two sons, Jesse Wiggins and his wife Vickie, and Harold Riley and his wife K.D., all of Paducah; three daughters, Ruth Ann Henley and her husband Bobby, Debbie Wilson, and Lois Argo, all of Paducah; six brothers, James, Eugene and Randy Riley, and Wayne, Charles and Roy Glisson, all of Paducah; four sisters, Betty Matheny of Paducah, Sue Wallace of Tennessee, Patricia Greenup of Paducah, and Mary Ann Riley of Paducah. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Riley was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. His parents were Lois Riley and Vera Glisson.
Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Lindsey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Riley Cemetery in Golo.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
