Joan L. Smith

Joan L. Smith, 83, of Brookport, IL passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Baptist Health in Paducah.

She is survived by grandchildren, Joey (Lakain) Hudspeth of Brookport, IL and Kristal (Treven) Woodruff of Brookport, Il; two sisters, Charlene Ray and Marie Timberlake both of Louisville, KY; great grandchildren, Blake Suggs, Kandace Suggs, Ryan Woodruff, Bella Burnett, Sophia Burnett and Myla Mae Hudspeth; one great-great-granddaughter, Audrey Lynn Suggs; daughter-in-law, Janie (Rondell) Hudspeth; best friend, Judy Fitch; niece, Tammy (Richard) Rigney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis; two sons, Bobby Crawford and Kenny Hudspeth;  sister, Sandy Cockerill; brother, Danny Snedecker; and great-granddaughter, Katelyn Suggs.

Private family graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
