Joel Kathryn Thompson

Joel Kathryn Thompson, 75 of Ledbetter passed away Tuesday January 21, 2025 at her home.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gene Thompson of Ledbetter. Three sons; Ron Thompson of Ledbetter, Don (Tammy) Thompson of Paducah and Matt (Carrie) Thompson of Ledbetter. One daughter, Tammy (Ronnie) Moore of Calvert City. Four brothers; Darrell Wayne Ford of Ledbetter, Anthony Ford of Paducah, Joe Ford of Paducah and Doug Ford of Paducah. Three sisters, Treasa Jones of Clarksville, TN. And Connie Tucker of Ledbetter, and Sandra Ford of Paducah. Eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. And several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents; Leo Ford and Evelyn Perry Ford. Two brothers; Bruce and Keith Ford.

Friends may visit with the family from 5 – 8 p.m, Saturday January 25, 2025 at Lindsey Funeral Home. The funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday January 26, 2025 at Ohio Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Ledbetter. The Rev. Rodney Cude and Rev. Terry Mitcheson will officiate. Interment to follow at Moore’s Family Cemetery in Calvert City.
