Joseph Alton Hayden, 73, of Paducah died on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Southgate Nursing & Rehab in Metropolis.

Joseph worked in the hospitality and service industry and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Surviving are three daughters, Jodi Wring of Salem, Wendi Cowne of Janesville, Wisconsin, Eleanor “Elli” Bell of West Paducah; six siblings, Margie Heiar of TN, Patsy Hayden of Paducah, Bernard Hayden of Paducah, Linda O’Brian of Paducah, Phillip Hayden of Paducah, Mel Hayden of Paducah; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George B. Hayden Jr. and JoAnn Hayden.

Graveside services with military honors will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at West Kentucky Veterans Cemetery located at 5817 Fort Campbell Blvd. Hopkinsville, KY 42240.

Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
