Joseph Eugene Lindsey, 63, of Paducah, died Wednesday evening, September 7th, 2016 at his home.
Joe was a retired professional painter, a military veteran of the Army, Navy, and Air Force; a member of The American Legion Post #31 of Paducah; and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Joe is survived by his wife, Diane; five children, Joseph Jenkins of Middleberry, Ind., Stephany Lindsey of Ft. Myers, Fl., James Lindsey of Ft. Myers, Fl., Meagan Johnson of Grainger, Ind., and Cameron Hostetter of Elkhart, Ind.; three brothers, Charles Lindsey of Bonita Springs, Fl., Michael Lindsey Fulcher of Wilmington, N.C., and William Nickolas Lindsey of Elkhart, Ind.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Ben and Patricia Washam Lindsey; and two sisters.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, September 9th, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Paducah starting at 3pm with Rev. Jim Smith and Rev. Wesley Conner officiating.
