Juanita Bates

Juanita “Nita” Bates, age 69, born September 16, 1954, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Baptist Health Hospital.

Nita was one of a kind and will be missed dearly. She loved to cut up and joke around with the ones that were close to her. If you knew her, you had a story of some kind. Nita worked at Olive Garden for several years before retiring four years ago.

Nita was happily married to Bobby Robinson for the last 40 years, he survives her. She is also survived by her son, Mark Bates and wife Lisa Bates; one granddaughter, Desiraye Sutton; two grandsons, Michael and Brandon; two great-grandsons, Treston and Luken; one great-granddaughter, Mia; and one brother, David Bates.

Nita was preceded in death by her father George Bates, and her mother, Dorothy Weeks.

No services are scheduled for Nita at this time. The family asks you to keep them in your prayers.
