Judith Ann (Purcell) Beard

Judy Beard, 74, of Folsomdale passed away at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Mayfield. She was retired from management of the Walmart Supercenter in Mayfield.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jerry Beard; one son, Duane, (Dacia) Beard of Folsomdale; two sisters, Nancy Vaughn of Paducah and Peggy (Roger) Trover, of Paducah; one brother, Johnny (Wanda) Purcell, of Cadiz; seven grandchildren, Danyiel, DeAnna, Darlene, and Daniel Beard, all of Paducah; and DeLara (Thomas) Cherry, of Boaz; Amanda (Scott) Fakhoorian of Paducah, and David Beard of Paducah.
Mrs. Beard was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Louise Purcell; one son, Dennis Beard; and a still born infant grandson, Drew Beard.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday January 19, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bryat Kerns officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Church of Christ Cemetery.
